Boondi ladoo


It is a delicious Indian dessert made during all special occasions all over India.These are also prepared during various Indian festivals like Holy,Diwali,and Rakshabandhan.

Ingredients:
For Boondi preparation:
1 cup gram flour.
1/2 cup water
For syrup preparation:
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 tsp of sliced almonds
1 tsp of cardamom water.
1 tsp sliced pistachios for garnishing
Procedure:
1.Heat the sugar and water till reaches 1 thread consistency(It will take 10 minutes).
2.In the mean time mix the flour and water and make a smooth batter,the consistency of batter should be such that it should flow properly through the skimmer.
3.Check if syrup is done,keep it aside.
4.Heat the oil.
5.Place skimmer 1 1/2 inch from pan level,otherwise boondi would not come round.Now pour the batter over a skimmer(sieve with round holes).Round boondies will come in the oil.
6.Fry it for 3 min or till bubbles disappear from oil.
7.Remove these boondies from oil and put them in the hot syrup.Add cardamoms,and almonds in this mixture.
8. When the mixture is still warm make into round balls.
9.Garnish ladoos with pistachios(sliced) on the top.
10.Boondi Ladoo are ready to be served
