Palak Paneer


Palak Paneer is a delicious dish from North India.It Is a healthy and tasty dish.It goes great with naan.The below recipe will make dish for four people.

Ingredients:
1 bunch Spinach
2 tomatoes chopped
2 onions finely chopped
1/2 inch ginger sliced
1 cup paneer cubes
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
salt to taste
4 tsp oil
1 tsp heavy cream
3-4 green chillies
2 bayleaves
1/2 tsp kasoori methi leaves

Procedure:Procedure:
1.Boil spinach in 2 cups water in cooker and wait till one whistle.
2.Now drain water from spinach and grind it in grinder and form smooth paste.Keep this paste aside.
3.Heat 2 tsp oil in skillet,add onions and fry till they become translucent.
4.Now add tomatoes, and ginger in this and cook until they become soft.
5.Add cumin powder in this and stir for 30 sec.
6.Take this mixture out and cool it and then grind it in grinder.
7.Heat the 2 tsp oil in the same skillet and add bay leaves and the ground paste of ginger and tomato. Let it cook for 5 min
8.Add spinach paste in this and add salt,chilly powder,garam masala, kasoori methi and chopped paneer cubes.
9.Simmer the flame and cook for 6 to 8 minutes.
10.Garnish with cream.
11.Serve hot with naan.
