Egg Paratha

Egg Paratha contains egg stuffed inside. This is an excellent breakfast idea but can be enjoyed anytime when you want to prepare something in a hurry. This goes great with yogurt or tomato ketchup.Very easy to prepare and healthy and delicious to eat, enjoyed most by kids.Below recipe will make 6 Paratha

Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat flour

1/2 cup water or as needed

3 Eggs

1/2 medium onion finely chopped

1 tomato finely chopped

1 green chilly finely chopped

coriander finely chopped

3 tbsp oil

1/2 tsp red chilly powder

Salt to taste.

Procedure:

1.Mix wheat flour and water and form a smooth dough.

2.Divide dough into six equal parts.

3.Take one part and roll it 2 inch diameter and apply oil in its surface properly. Now fold it in order to form a semi circle and again apply oil in its surface properly. Now fold it to form a triangle.Roll it to form paratha of approx. 7-8 inches.Keep it aside.

4.Repeat the same process for rest of 5 parts of dough to form paratha.

5.Now to prepare egg mixture mix egg's white and yellow part with onions, tomatoes, coriander, green chilly, salt and chilly powder.Mix the whole mix really well so that all the contents have mixed with each other.

4.Put tava on medium heat.Put one rolled paratha in this .Once you see bubble emerging on the surface, toss the paratha upside down, now try to separate one of the layer of paratha using a butter knife. Now fill it with egg mixture.Be careful that egg mixture shouldn't be too much otherwise it will come out and mess your paratha.

5.Now toss the paratha the other way and put oil and fry it the way you did for other paratha(see aaloo paratha, mooli paratha etc.)

6.Fry the remaining parathas the same way.

7.Serve hot with tomato ketchup or yogurt.
