Missi Roti


Missi roti is one of most traditional indian bread that is enjoyed by almost everyone.This is prepared using gram flour and all purpose flour.It goes well with Palak paneer .
Ingredients
1 cup besan
1 cup atta (all purpose flour)
2 tbsp oil or ghee
1 tbsp kasoori methi (dry fenugreek leaves)
1/2 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
A pinch of hing (asafoetida)
salt to taste

Procedure:
1.Mix all the ingredients. Add enough water to make a dough of stiff but smooth consistency.
2.Cover it and keep aside for half an hour.
3.Divide the dough into 6 parts.
4.Make small balls and roll them slightly thicker than the usual chapatti.
5.Cook on hot tawa till its golden brown.
6.Put some oil on either side and toss it again.
7.Missi roti is ready.Serve hot with Palak Paneer.
