Jhat pat rice

A mildly spiced rice which can be made very quickly. Ensure that each grain of the cooked rice is separate. The below recipe will prepare 4 servings

Ingredients:
2 teacups cooked rice
1 onion, sliced
1 tomato, chopped
Pinch of hing(Asoefoetida)
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp amchur powder
3 tablespoons oil
salt to taste
Chopped coriander for garnishing

Procedure:
1. Heat the oil in a skillet and put hing and then put onions and fry them untill they become light golden in color.
2.Now add turmeric powder in it and fry for 20 sec(on medium flame)
3.Add tomato in it and fry until they become soft.
4.Now add cooked rice,salt chilli powder,coriander powder and amchur powder. and cook it for 2 min.
5.Garnish it with coriander leaves.
