Easy Butterscotch Cake


Butterscotch cake is my favourite and I tried it for the first time on our Wedding Anniversary.I used cake mix for making this cake.It came out real good.So thought to share this recipe with our readers...
Ingredients:
1(18.25 oz) pack of Duncan Hines Butterscotch cake mix.
1(16.2 oz)pack of whipped cream
4 eggs
1/2 cup warm water
2 tsp oil
3/4 cup milk
Gems for decoration
Icing gel for decoration

Procedure:
1.Preheat the oven to 400 degree Fahrenheit.
2.Mix milk,cake mix,water,oil and eggs together.
3.Batter should be mixed in such a way that it is free of lumps.
4.Now grease the cake pan and pour the batter in it.
5.Bake it for 25-30 min.
6.Now to check if the cake is properly cooked insert a match stick in centre of the cake and see if it comes out clean.If it doesn't comes out clean it means that the cake needs to be baked more for another 5 min.
7.Once the cake is properly baked remove it from oven and cool it properly.
8.Now spread neatly the whipped cream over the surface of the cake.
9.Write on the cake as per occassion using icing gels.
10.Decorate it using gems.
11.Cake is ready.Lets celebrate

Cinnamon muffins


Cinnamon muffins are my favourite evening snack with a cup of hot coffee

Ingredients:
2 medium eggs.
3 cups of flour.
1 cup of milk.
1 cup of sugar.
5 tablespoons of butter.
5 tablespoons of shortening.
3 teaspoons of baking powder.
1 teaspoon of salt.
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg.
1 tablespoon of cinnamon.

Procedure:
1.Grease 12 three-inch muffin pan cups.
2.Cream together the butter, the shortening and the sugar.
3.Beat in the eggs, salt, nutmeg,cinnamon and baking powder.
4.Stir in the flour and milk alternately until mixture is just combined.
5.Fill muffin cups to the half.
6.Bake at 350F oven for about twenty minutes.
7.Allow to cool for a few minutes.
8.Muffins are ready,enjoy it with hot coffee
