Bhatura is a one of the famous dish from Punjab(India).This is considered as the best brunch for Sunday.It is enjoyed with Choley,in fact choley bhature is one of the most complete recipe that does not require any further dish to accompany for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients:
2 cups maida or all purpose flour
1/2 tea spn baking powder
1/2 cup yogurt
1 tea spn sugar
Oil
Salt to taste
Procedure:
Mix all the ingredients(except oil) to form a uniform dough and keep it aside for 1 1/2 hr.
Take a small ball of the dough and roll into the desired sized Bhature(about 5 inches in diameter).
Deep fry the Bhature in oil till they puff and are light golden in colour.
Serve hot with Choley.
