Besan Pedas are most popular dessert prepared during festivals.This recipe is prepared using gram flour.TheBelow recipe will prepare around 25 medium sized pedas.
Ingredients
4 cups Gram Flour
1 cup Cow Ghee
2 cups sugar
1 tsp Powdered Cardamom
1/2 cup chopped Almonds and Pistachios
Procedure:
1.Heat the ghee in a pan.
2.Add the gram flour and fry it on a low flame stirring continuously till brown.
3.Once it is browned, and starts leaving ghee,this shows besan is cooked properly,now let it cool.
4.Add powdered cardamom and sugar. Mix well.
5.Add chopped almonds and pistachios.
6.Shape into pedas(flat rounds).
